DE LA SOUL - NEW ALBUM - ARE YOU IN?
I was just thinking to myself the other day at the gym.. "wouldn't it be great to have a mix or album that follows the tempo and journey of your workout?" De la Soul and Nike have joined forces to do just that.. give you music that will aid in your quest to burn some fat. how phat is that? very... so i bought the album on itunes about 3 min ago.. also, some pluses.. couple of my friends on this album. Gina Loring and Raheem murder on vocals. As i type this. i've only heard the first 10:13 of the album's 45 min. and its already amazing. can't wait to hit the gym in 5..4..3..2..peace!

BOBBITO GARCIA SIGNS A PAIR OF AIR FORCE 1'S (25TH ANNIV MAC & CHEESE EDITION) FOR OVEOUS MAXIMUS
Bobbito is my boy... We first met last year in the summer when we went to Puerto Rico with Louie Vega and Roy Ayers to perform for the Elements of Life concert. Since then, we've been homies. Went to his crib a few months ago and he gave me these. but i refused to wear them until he had signed them. (I know... i'm a virgo) So last night i got the job done. I'll probably wear them at my next gig or something. Btw, if you didn't know... Bobbito is author of the highly acclaimed book "Where'd You Get Those" which funny enough i had in my book library for 3 years till i noticed a few weeks ago that it was his book! LOL... But thats not all... Bobbito also is founder of BOUNCE magazine. A publication dedicated to the game of Basketball.Monday, March 30, 2009
